 The Monroe Alano Club or MAC is a non-profit organization whose members share the common bond and goal of recovery from substance abuse through a 12 step program. The Club provides a safe and drug / alcohol free environment for people in recovery to socialize with one another and share their experience, strength, hope. We offer multiple daily AA 12 step meetings, and a large assortment of recovery literature, pamphlets and anniversary coins.

 To help encourage both “the new comer” and/or “the old timer” participate in the wonderful fellowship that has been given to us, we have regularly scheduled events such as dances, comedy shows and holiday parties. These events are sponsored by local groups or the Alano Club itself. We also have various organization meetings like MCYPAA and Inter-Groups .

 For the entertainment of our members and their guests while in the club we offer pool, 2 dart machines, foosball table, assorted video games and cable on our large screen television and two additional televisions. In addition we sell refreshments (non-alcoholic of course), snacks, Ice cream bars and popcorn.

 We rent space for local AA / NA meeting groups and 12 step functions in our community.
